High School Home Run Derby
High School baseball programs will again have the opportunity for one member of their team to participate in the high school home run derby*!
High school players will slug it out after selected Mud Hens home games in July with the top two (2) competing for the championship in August.
If you would like to be part of the 2009 High School Home Run Derby, call (419) 725-4367 to sign up today! Dates are subject to change and will
be limited to a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Home Run Derby will follow the regularly scheduled Toledo Mud Hens game. High School Home Run Derby Dates:
- July 7, 8, 9, and 10
- July 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24
- Finals - Friday, August 7
- Rain Date - Saturday, August 8
*The experience is once-in-a lifetime, so we want your cheering section to be here! We ask that each participant sell 25 tickets each to
the game they will be participating in, in order to compete in the event. It's a great way to share the experience with your team, family,
and friends all while providing a way of raising money for your local baseball program. Teams can mark up the $9 tickets and keep the difference
between the ticket cost and the mark up price as a fundraiser for their program.
