High School Baseball Program Opportunities

PLAY A GAME AT FIFTH THIRD FIELD

Seventy-two Mud Hens games a year at Fifth Third Field just isn't enough baseball for us! We want to host your high school for a game!

The Toledo Mud Hens are committed to promoting baseball within the community, so we've set up a special program is to provide a fun, rewarding and memorable baseball experience for local high school baseball players, coaches and families - - - all while providing a way of raising money for local baseball program.

It's the Mud Hens High School 'Play a Game at Fifth Third Field' Funraiser Program. Every young baseball player dreams about stepping out onto a professional baseball field one day. This is your chance to play a game at Fifth Third Field, home of the "World Famous" Toledo Mud Hens.

There is no facility or field rental fee and absolutely zero out of pocket expense from your program.

Here is how it works:

1. Find another team that's interested in this program and wants to play against you at Fifth Third Field. (If you cannot find one that's okay - just let us know and we will find one for you.)
2. Contact Chris Hole (419) 720-4403 or email chole@mudhens.com to work out available game dates.
3. Receive 300 undated Mud Hens ticket vouchers ($9 voucher value) per high school team. (They will be issued on consignment, which means there is zero out of pocket expense from your program.)
4. Get out and sell those Mud Hens ticket vouchers! Teams can mark up the $9 voucher and keep the difference between the voucher and the mark up price as a fundraiser for their program. The Mud Hens recommend a sales period running from the fall through the spring before the season they play their game at Fifth Third Field in order to maximize time to sell the vouchers.*
5. Submit payment for the vouchers to the Mud Hens in the spring, before you play your game at Fifth Third Field. (Make sure to keep your fundraising portion!)
6. Finalize game details and play your game at Fifth Third Field!**

Your program will get to play a game at Fifth Third Field for FREE and you will make money for your program. This is a WIN - WIN opportunity.

* Vouchers redeemable for any 2010 Toledo Mud Hens regular season home game, except for Opening Day.
** Admission to high school games at Fifth Third Field is FREE to all fans.
