Almonte Scores Four Runners, Lambert Lights Out; Hens Win 7-3
A fast-paced first inning set the flow for the rest of the game. The Pigs struck in the first, but the Hens answered back. RHP Chris Lambert (5-1) worked the rubber quickly on the way to a Mud Hens 7-3 win over the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Thursday evening.
The hot-hitting SS Erick Almonte added four RBI and 3B Mike Hessman extended his league lead in the home run department with a solo shot in the third.
